Unlike Eloise, who was stiff with worry throughout the movie, Lucian was practically radiating cheer. His energy was infectious as he took Eloise’s hand, leading her to the parking lot. His grip was warm and reassuring, and he opened the door for her with a grin. Once Eloise had settled into the passenger seat, Lucian closed the door and walked around to the driver’s side. He slid in, ready to hit the road, when Eloise suddenly spoke. "Wait a minute," she said her voice a mix of hesitation and quiet concern. Lucian paused, looking over at her. "What’s up?
