The dining hall was noisy and more crowded than usual with all the guests enjoying a relaxing meal and conversation. It could almost be considered festive as several debated what their King planned to discuss. Several looked up as the Wolf Nation representatives arrived. Callum and several others waved them over to join them so they could continue their conversations from the previous night. There was still a great deal of curiosity on both sides.
Nathan kept an eye out for any hostility, but noted introductions continued to go well. The only ones who seemed apprehensive were the Council members, but that was expected given the treachery they already knew about. They still weren’t sure how far it ran, so it paid to keep a close eye on them.
