Alexander settled in her chair as he struggled to focus on his work. It had been difficult to leave Erin before she woke up, but his mother was insistent that he got out of the house. She planned a girl’s day and didn’t want him anywhere near the manor. As challenging as it was, he was happy to let Erin have her day.
He had felt her nervousness when she woke, but when he reached for the bond, he felt she was relaxed and calm now. It was clear she was enjoying her time with the other lunas. Despite the distance, Argo remained calm and quiet. While Alexander certainly had every reason to get his work done, he had a difficult time focusing for his own reasons. Still, he had to get it done, so the night ran smoothly. The ceremony was all about her.
