Julian finished the whole bowl, and the ache in his stomach eased almost instantly.
Watching the tension drain from his face, Cassandra smiled. "You really do need to take better care of yourself. Another hospital trip, and it's not just Diane who'll be scared out of her mind. I would be too."
"Sorry to worry you." His eyes stayed soft on her.
Cassandra's confidence swelled.
