I strode into Voss Financial like I owned the place. Well not technically, but I owned pieces of industries similar to it.
My plan was simple, get in, get close to Elena, make her crave me and the rest is history.
But today, there was a weird tinge in the air, and my throat felt tight. I only felt that way when something bad is about to happen.
I was halfway to my desk already to sit my ass down when her voice sliced through the air.
"You lying bastard!! " Elena screamed, loud enough that the whole floor could hear. "Alexander Reed...or should I say, billionaire Alexander Reed who owns half of the f*****g finance world!."
Oh s**t!
Eyes widened behind laptop screens, everywhere grew eerily quiet. The staffs tried and failed to pretend to mind their business.
