I started panicking when he drew his face closer to mine and dug it into my neck. He was probably going to mark me now.
I closed my eyes and shed silent tears while his hand wrapped around my arm and started shaking me. I didn’t feel the pressure on my neck. In fact, I heard a familiar voice in my ear and my eyes opened in shock.
