Melina’s POV
Saoirse and Cara suddenly appeared next to us, and the next second, we were taken about fifty feet away. We were gently placed on the ground before there was movement all around us. Steel panels rose from the ground, blocking us from Bridger. When did this get installed? I’ve never seen this before in my life. I can hear Bridger speaking outside, but I don’t recognize who he's talking to. I didn’t care about what was going on out there. I just needed my parents to be healed.
“I’m grabbing Alexei. They need to be healed. I’ll be right back,” Cara said before she disappeared.
“Melina, I was supposed to go get Dr. Gurin, but I’m scared to leave you here alone. I'll go when Cara gets back,” Saoirse advised.
“I’m not alone, my parents are here. Go get Dr. Gurin.
