Evelyn’s POV
On the day of my first doctor’s appointment, both Cheryl and Bianca insisted on accompanying me. I was a nervous wreck and did my best not to show it.
It was no use.
My hands were a shaking mess as I struggled to fill out the forms one of the nurses handed me.
“Here, let me,” Bianca said, taking the clipboard from me. She proceeded to fill out all the sections while asking the occasional question for me to answer.
My mind was an absolute scattered mess. While I knew it was important to be here, part of me felt horribly guilty that I still hadn’t told Kane about any of it.
