Kane is actually serious.
He hadn’t just been trying to put on a show in front of Alexander or simply spread rumors. We are actually going on a date.
So now I have to humor him. I’m standing in front of our bathroom mirror, doing some final touch ups on my makeup and making sure every hair is in place. It feels silly to put in all of this effort just for Kane, but this is bigger than just him.
This is the first time we’ll be going out in public together. We’re willingly going somewhere as husband and wife, and we’ll be seen by the general public. Therefore, I need to look the part of Luna to those who haven’t witnessed the last few weeks within the pack house.
