The following days were no easier.
In fact, if it weren’t for those stress and anxiety stabilizers, there was no telling what shape I would be in.
News of Olivia’s presence really spread throughout the rest of the pack. Against my personal wishes, everyone was beginning to take a liking to. And for some who knew her all those years ago, they were graciously happy to welcome her back as though she never left.
There had reached a point where there wasn’t a single place where her name wasn’t being mentioned in one manner or another. In the communal dining hall, the gym, the medical ward, even the goddamned hallways!
People were whispering, commenting on her clothing choices, how she wore her hair, how softly spoken she was.
