The following days that came after the battle felt rather surreal.
For starters, Kane refused to leave my side. Even though there were a multitude of things that required his attention, he decided that both our physical and mental well-being were to be put first.
Kane had even put out a public statement after a slew of reporters tried to bombard the gates. Everyone in the northern territories wanted to know the details of what had taken place during the battle.
