I cannot believe that Maddie stabbed me. I really thought when she heard the sirens getting closer, that she knew that she was going to jail today, and then to prison, that she would throw down the knife. I guess I need to be thankful that she assaulted both myself and the off-duty detective, as with our injuries, it would be attempted murder for both of us, and attempted murder for Cora, too, even though she never got to her, she tried to get to her, and that counts, I hope. Nicolas was telling me that put Maddie over 100 years in charges at this time, so even with good behavior, she would be almost 80 years old, after serving half the sentence.
