I'm startled when I feel the gentle nudge of my mother's link. There is no way she should be able to link me from the werewolf kingdom. Alfonso must feel my confusion when concern flashes in his eyes. "Gemma, I need you to meet me and Georgy in the cells alone," she says. My mom is back in the vampire kingdom, in the cells. What the hell is going on? She never even told me she was coming. "Gemma, is everything alright? Is something wrong with the pups," Alfonso asks.
