Hailey’s POV The room felt smaller the longer I sat there, I kept my hands between my laps, slowly counting down to when I will be bailed out of here. I felt like the walls were inching closer just to watch me break. The light above me flickered once, then steadied, its dull white glow making everything look lifeless and dull of all freedom a person should have.
