Then, when I called the network for my version of the story, they made it sound like I was hiding the truth!
I called my dad right away and within twenty-four hours the story was buried, but I knew the damage was already done when it came to Stacy and Darius. Hearing Stacy breakdown like that had my heart stopping. And then when the call dropped, and she wouldn’t pick up after calling her thirty times, I panicked.
