My head hurt from all the crying. Blinking my eyes open, I found they were dry and gritty. Something in my arms made me look down and I saw the most adorable tiny cream-colored bear with a small blue box attached to its paws.
Rubbing my eyes and cleaning out the grit, I blinked to get some moisture into them. I looked at the bear, I didn’t remember anyone waking me up and putting it there. I slowly lifted the lid and gasped and the delicately beautiful gold charm bracelet that was inside. There was a baby blue ribbon and the letter N charm.
“Breaker!” I called out.
He came into the room looking a little tired. I grabbed my phone and saw that it was midnight.
