“I have been ignoring you, haven't I?” Elias said after we decided to go get some rest. It was late, and we were tired, there was a lot on our minds, so it was better to rest as much as we can just in case something is going to happen, we needed to be prepared.
“What do you mean?” I asked. He chuckled and pulled me closer to him.
“With everything that's going on, it's always about Max and Forest and never about you and me. I'm thinking that this entire situation is just a mess for us. I don't even know what you're thinking anymore.” Had it been that bad? I mean, we went through a lot before, and we are just getting over it. But, it seems as if something big was coming, so it's not like we were at peace right now.
