"Hmm" He hummed before raising his head. "Dad wants to see us after class" He mind-linked me. I looked away, not wanting him to see my burning cheeks which he probably had already seen, but still.
I cleared my throat, regaining my composure before looking at him, making sure my eyes weren't doing what it did before. But I doubt it worked, cause I saw his jaw tighten and his brows raised.
I looked away. "Why?" I replied through our mind-link, distracting myself with my books.
I looked at him when I noticed he wasn't saying anything but instead, his gaze was fixated on the girl sitting beside me who I hadn't even noticed was here. She suddenly stood up and packed her bags.
