"And where have you two been?" Ariana asked, casting us suspicious looks as we walked towards where she stood with the others.
By the time we got out, it was night time already but the party was still on and bustling.
"Um.. my d..dress.. got stuck, and.."
"It got stuck indeed. You know we can all smell his scent on you, right?" Ariana said to me through our mind-link and my cheeks flushed.
I grabbed a glass on the counter without looking and gulped it down to hide my embarrassment. I heard Aiden's chuckle beside me as he pulled a stool to sit.
"Here." He patted on the nearest stool to him, asking me to sit. I did so immediately.
