"Morning mom" Ryan said, kissing his mom on the cheek and she blushed. "Morning son" She smiled before turning to us. "Morning kids"
"Morning" Aiden and I chorused.
We all settled and dug in after Annie served each of us.
We were in the middle of the meal when Annie suddenly raised her brows, her eyes slowly growing. "Mom, what's wrong?" Ryan asked, concern growing on his face.
"It's today. The hospital appointment. I forgot, again." She muttered. Ryan's brows raised.
"Again? Have you been missing your appointments?" He asked, a frown forming on his face. "Not completely, I go sometimes" She said and Ryan dropped his fork, his jaw clenching.
