Ryan's brows raised instinctively but he replied anyways. "I wasn't able to reach him in time, so I doubt he will." He said.
I nodded thoughtfully though I felt sad inwardly.
My brows raised abruptly. "What about my parents? Did you tell them?" I asked, my face falling. "Even if you did, it's almost impossible for them to be here. It's too abrupt." I said and he nodded in agreement.
"But I did tell them- I mean Carmen did and he told me they weren't sure they would be able to make it."
