LUNA'S POV The cold night air smacked me in the face the second we stepped out of the party house. My laughter died in my throat when I saw him. He turned and walked back to the car. “I'm so disappointed in you guys,” He was leaning against the car, arms crossed, jaw tight, and eyes burning like coals. He didn’t even have to say anything—I already knew we were in deep trouble. My stomach flipped, and all the adrenaline that had kept me buzzing inside the house instantly drained out of me. “Get in the car,” Richard said, voice low and dangerous. I froze for a second, my brain spiraling. What if he told my father? I’d never hear the end of it. Jimmy and Elina slid past me quickly, choosing the smart option—silence.
