Jaden’s POV The morning light was too silent and empty. I reached across the bed out of habit, my palm searching for Luna’s sweet warmth, but all I found was a patch of cold sheets. I opened my eyes fully then, staring at the untouched pillow. A strange unease twisted in my chest. She was always here when I woke up. Always. infact she was the one who always woke me up. Where is she? I sat up, rubbed my face, and slipped on my robe. The silence in the house only made the unease grow heavier. No kettle boiling, no faint humming of her voice from the kitchen.
