Jasmine’s POV Coming back to the pack after everything, knowing that there was finally going to be peace, was refreshing. The air felt lighter, and the sky looked clearer than it had in months. I looked out the truck window as we drove through the pack house. Even though I know that the people here want absolutely nothing to do with me, The war is over. Arnold is dead, and our family was safe. When our truck pulled up to our house Aunt Rose stepped out holding Orson hands. "Daddy! Mommy!" Looking at my son’s face, seeing his excitement to see me, and knowing that he’s finally going to have that smile on his face forever meant everything. It meant that he gets to have a normal childhood. He gets to be happy, he gets to smile, and he will never have to grow up in fear of Arnold.
