It's been a long couple of days not to mention the fact that we had our mating ceremony and we couldn't even celebrate that because we had to go straight into the war.
But tonight it was just Garrett and me in our new home while our son slept down the hall.
My wolf felt happy to be with her true Alpha because she hasn't gotten the time ever since I got her back.
Garrett stepped closer until there was no space left between us. His hands rested on my waist.
"I've wanted you all to myself like this baby" he whispered softly.
I smiled and put my hands on his chest. His heart beat fast against my palms.
"We're finally home, Garrett" I murmured. "Just you and me."
He leaned down and kissed me and I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him close and he groaned softly a
