"Are you okay? You seem anxious," Simon asked just a few minutes into our walk.
"Actually, I lied to Garrett about where I am, and obviously I'm quite nervous that he's going to find out," I said.
He smiled. "Yeah, I don't see him liking that. But something tells me that my sister is no less obstinate, I think."
I laughed. "Of course. Nobody tells me what to do."
"I didn't think us meeting was going to be this complicated," he said.
"Well, you can think of even more complicated scenarios, but yeah, this is definitely hard," I said.
I didn't notice that we were at a clearing with a swing set until he told me to hop on. I looked at him like he was crazy.
