I can't wipe the smile from my face as we make our way downstairs. Ivan's arm wrapped around me, his own smile firmly in place. When we reach the dining room, Ivan pulls my chair out before taking the seat next to me. The sound of giggles has everyone looking toward the door. Ava comes bounding in with a stuffed unicorn in her arms. Her eyes find me and she rushes over. I scoop her up and Ivan presses a kiss to her head. "Mama and Papa, look at what Nana Miram got me," she says.
