I swung the SUV into the alley behind the tattoo shop and braked beside the rear door. Benny caught himself against the dash, but neither of us commented on it. We had already passed the front once, and there were too many people on the sidewalk, too many businesses facing the street, too many cameras that might catch two Black Daggers carrying JJ out minutes after Havoc left her half-conscious on the floor.
Benny was already doing the same. “We don’t have time to disrupt the cameras.”
“I know.”
I killed the engine and tore off my cut. Benny pulled his off as well.
The last time I’d come through this door, I’d planned every second. I’d killed the feed before breaking in, installed the camera, and made sure there was nothing tying me to the shop afterward.
This time there hadn’t
