Cassidy was laughing at something Harlow said when I walked through the main room.
She had a roll of ribbon in one hand and was pointing at something on the table with the other. Whatever Harlow had said had the whole corner of the room going. A few of the brothers nearby looked over and smiled without knowing why.
I stopped near the doorway for a second.
Knox said something from across the room and Cassidy turned to answer him and that was when she saw me. Her expression didn't change much. Just a small shift.
"You just going to stand there?" she said.
"Thinking about it," I said.
