I finished training with Jake around eight thirty. Monday morning. The compound was busy now. Brothers moving around. Working. Talking.
Jake set down the targets. "You're getting faster. Better accuracy too."
"Thanks."
"Same time tomorrow?"

I checked my gun. Made sure the safety was on. Tucked it into my waistband.
