(Asher) Saturday morning I woke up with Harlow still asleep next to me. Early. Six thirty. But I couldn't sleep anymore. Kept thinking about that car from yesterday. The dark sedan. The way the friend showed up right when Wade went to check. Too convenient. I got out of bed. Careful not to wake her. Went to the kitchen. Made coffee. Pulled out my phone. Called Wade.
