I let myself into our section as quietly as I could. The lights in the living room were still on, but the rest of the place was silent. I glanced toward the bedroom and saw Cassidy asleep, exactly where I'd hoped she'd be.
I closed the bedroom door most of the way before walking back into the living room. My mind was still on the warehouse and everything Turner had uncovered. Tomorrow had the chance to change all of this.
A knock came at the front door.
I crossed the living room and opened it.
Knox stood outside.
"The men are in place," he said.
I stepped aside to let him in.
He closed the door behind him and kept his voice low.
"Didn't want to wake Cassidy."
"You didn't."
I nodded toward the couch.
We both sat down.
"Any problems?" I asked.
"None so far."
