(Dane) Garret spent several minutes looking through everything Turner had collected. He checked the messages first, then the calls connected to the second number. Turner explained which records matched the locations we'd used to test Trent. Garret listened without taking his eyes off the laptop. "How far back does this go?" Garret asked. He pointed at one of the dates on the screen. Turner checked the records again. I already knew the answer wasn't going to make any of us feel better. "Several weeks," Turner answered. He turned the laptop toward himself again. The earliest calls were from before the prospect was attacked. Garret wrote the date down. Trent remained in the chair. He hadn't tried denying anything since Garret walked in. Maybe he finally understood there wasn't much left
