I returned to the compound the next morning knowing Ridge planned to speak with Leo. Cassidy was still home with brothers outside, and our phones remained off. I didn't know when Ridge planned to give the order. All I knew was that I needed to act like any other day.
Leo was already near the garage when I arrived. He was talking with Axel while Knox worked nearby. Trent was inside the garage with two prospects. Seeing all three names close together didn't help.
I parked and went inside without stopping to talk to anyone. There was work waiting, and keeping busy gave me something to do besides watch Leo. Ridge hadn't arrived yet. Turner was somewhere around the compound preparing for tonight.
