(Cassidy) Dane was gone most of the evening. That wasn't unusual when club business got involved. One phone call could change an entire day and everybody connected to Devil's Reach learned that sooner or later. By the time night settled over the compound, I was stretched out on the couch watching television and waiting for him to get back. The door to our section finally opened a little after nine.
