I never got a chance to talk to Mira before Cassidy and I left the compound. She stayed with Cassidy and Harlow, and I wasn't about to do anything that made Cassidy start asking questions. Ridge didn't try either. He knew I'd handle it when I got the chance.
The next morning, I went back to the compound for work. Cassidy stayed at the house because she wanted to finish getting some things ready for our meeting with Melissa. That gave me the chance I'd been waiting for. Now I just needed Mira to be there.
I found Ridge at the bar. Mira was nearby with Sarah, who was busy playing at one of the tables. Harlow wasn't anywhere around. For once, things were working in my favor.
