The compound came into view a few minutes later. We parked and got the four prisoners out of the truck. Nobody wasted time talking as we walked them to the back of the compound. Ridge had questions, and I doubted any of them were looking forward to the answers.
Turner met us before we reached the door. His attention went straight to the evidence bag Ridge carried. Ridge handed it over without breaking stride.
"I'll start with the phones," Turner said.
"Let me know the second you find something," Ridge replied.
"You'll have it."
Turner headed back toward his office while we continued on with the prisoners. Once they were inside, Crash and Holt secured the first two while Knox and I handled the others. Ridge waited until everyone was where he wanted them before looking at me.
