I woke up to the sun shining in my face, and I was very confused.
I was in our room. The one the castle made for us, but I have no recollection of coming back here. I looked around, trying to shake the fog from my brain. I was naked, with a red sheet draped across my pelvic area. Nix was lying next to me. She was on her stomach, arms splayed out with one across my stomach. I had an arm splayed out above her head. Her black curls were a wild mess around her. She was also naked with the same sheet draped across her a.ss.
I smiled as I rolled onto my side. Nix's skin is so pretty. So creamy and smooth. Her scars are so beautiful. I hate how she got them, but they tell of her strength. Which reminded me of what I needed to do today.
