"Nodin can handle it," I cut Leda off as I stood from the table.
My council and I just had our meeting before I went to spend some time in Olympus. My mates are already there, and I am impatient to be with them. Understandably, but... it feels different today. I rushed through the meeting, barely letting anyone speak. I knew things were fine and any issues anyone would like to discuss, Nodin could handle. He knows how to get ahold of me if not. Everything else can wait.
"What was the point in creating a council if you're just going to be whisked away by that mate of yours anyway?" Leda asked angrily as she sat back and crossed her arms.
