Poppy's Point of View
I ran away from the bathroom and toward the table where Lilly was still sitting with BJ. She had a smile on her face. She looked so happy sitting there. I knew she was thinking we would finally have our mom, but that was not the case. I didn't know how I was going to tell her the truth, but I had to. I couldn't keep something like this from her. The only good thing was that I found out about our mom's intentions before she could hurt us more.
BJ noticed me as I was walking back to the table. He had a smile on his face that had disappeared as soon as he looked me in the eyes. He must have seen how sad and upset I was. BJ said something to Lilly and then walked over to where I was standing. I had stopped walking once he looked at me.
