Chapter Thirty-Four The very next morning, the reality of my choices hit the entire compound exactly like a massive, roaring freight train crashing through a brick wall. The brief, beautiful bubble of absolute peace and deep intimacy that Stone and I had created under the dark blankets of our bedroom was instantly shattered into a million tiny pieces.
