As the days turned into weeks, my longing for Bruno grew. Every moment without him felt like an eternity. I missed his warm embrace, his gentle kisses, and his reassuring presence. The children missed their father too, and they would often ask when he would return.
I tried to stay strong, to be the rock for our family, but the truth was, I was struggling. The distance was taking a toll on me, and I felt like a part of me was missing. I knew that Bruno was doing what he had to do, but it didn't make the ache in my heart any easier to bear.
