As I reluctantly agreed to go on the date with Bruno, I felt a mix of emotions swirling inside me. I was trapped, cornered by my own desperation to keep my job and provide for my son, Alejandro. Bruno's words echoed in my mind, "You'll be out of a job by the end of the week if you don't accompany me to dinner tonight." I knew I had to protect my son at all costs, and that meant keeping him a secret from Bruno, at least for now.
