Riley POV
The impact happened so quickly that my mind refused to understand it.
One second, Luca’s car was moving through the corner with two others close around him.
The next, the rear of the car snapped sideways.
The screen filled with smoke, debris, and the violent movement of the car spinning toward the barrier.
Sophie screamed first.
“Daddy!”
The sound tore through the hospitality room.
Max jumped to his feet so quickly that his chair fell backward. Leo froze beside the screen, his face completely pale.
Then Luca’s car hit the barrier.
The sound from the broadcast came a second later.
Metal.
Tires.
The sickening force of impact.
My body moved before thought returned.
I pulled Sophie against me with one arm and reached for the twins with the other.
“Come here.”
