Riley POV The photograph appeared online before we even reached home. At first, I did not know anything had happened. I was sitting in the back of the car with Sophie asleep against my side while the twins argued quietly over who had performed better during the race. Luca sat across from us, answering messages on his phone with the serious expression he usually wore whenever work followed him into family time. The drive felt calm, almost warm, and for a few minutes, I allowed myself to enjoy the memory of the day without thinking too much about what it meant. Then my phone began vibrating. One message. Then five. Then so many notifications appeared that the screen seemed to freeze. I frowned and unlocked it. The first message came from an old friend I had not spoken to in months.
