Riley POV My new room was smaller than the one at Luca’s mansion. That should not have mattered. It had a comfortable bed, a narrow wardrobe, a desk near the window, and a private bathroom with pale blue tiles. The walls were warm cream instead of cold white, and the window overlooked a quiet garden with trimmed hedges and a stone path that curved toward the back gate. It was a good room. A peaceful room.
