Luca POV The morning after the storm, Riley avoided looking at me. Again. She had developed a habit of doing that whenever something happened between us that neither of us wanted to explain. After the hallway outside her bedroom, she had focused entirely on the children. After the charity dinner, she had hidden behind short answers and sarcasm.
