NARRATIVE POV Tristan stretched wide in his king-sized bed. She was gone. He knew she wouldn’t be, there was too much risk of her being found before she could finish her tasks. But a part of him still hoped she slept in. Tank was already demanding regular sleepovers from now on. They would not sleep as comfortably without her ever again. Tristan was confident that it was easily the best sleep he’d ever had.
