“This isn’t good, Ali. We need to leave.” Yasmin stated as she frantically rushed around the small bungalow, collecting her personal items.
I couldn’t believe what she was saying. Was she seriously abandoning Mum and me? We were closing in on what we had set out to achieve. I wouldn’t fail my father. This was his life ambition, and I wanted to be the one to obtain it in his honour.
“We aren’t going anywhere, Aunt Mindy. If you didn’t screw up the spell you gave us, the body would have done what it was suppose to do. Her blood was supposed to strengthen me, but I couldn’t even get to that part of the spell yet. This is your mess, we aren’t going anywhere.”
