I let out a frustrated growl, smacking the side of my laptop with my palm. Still no use. The stupid thing was getting more and more temperamental the older it got, refusing to connect to the internet more often than it did. I'd told Daddy, and he'd promised to get me a new one, but he'd asked me if I could tough it out until Christmas, and I'd told him I could. I mostly used my phone anyway, for t****k and YouTube and stuff, but for writing essays I needed a laptop. Giving up, I copied the file to my memory stick, and headed downstairs to Daddy's office. It was mildly annoying, but I was used to this by now. Mostly, I wasn't allowed on Daddy's computer, because he had all his confidential work stuff on there. But as long as it was just for quickly submitting homework assignments
